Frontier Block B – Commercial Development
Hamilton Civil + Asphalts successfully delivered the civil works package for Frontier Block B, a key commercial development within the growing Te Awamutu area. As part of the broader Frontier Estate precinct, this project focused on preparing and constructing the infrastructure to support a new commercial centre, including retail and service spaces.
Our team worked closely with contractors and stakeholders to deliver a high-quality result that met commercial standards for durability, access, and appearance.
Scope of Works
Full carpark construction including excavation, subgrade preparation, basecourse build-up, and final surfacing for vehicle and pedestrian areas.
Construction of a certified building platform to support future commercial structures — including cut/fill works, compaction, and verification to engineering specifications.
Supply and installation of kerb and channel to shape and define the carpark layout, support surface drainage, and enhance the site’s overall presentation.
Formation of concrete pads, footpaths, access ramps, and other structural elements essential to the function and compliance of the site.
This project demonstrates our capability to deliver detailed civil works in a commercial setting — balancing timeframes, build tolerances, and coordination with vertical construction works. Frontier Block B is now a completed, functional, and well-finished component of the Te Awamutu commercial landscape.
